Typhanie AFSCHRIFT is the founding partner and managing partner of AFSCHRIFT Tax & Legal. Typhanie has a recognized expertise in tax law and criminal business law.

Tax specialist. While Typhanie is one of the country’s most renowned tax specialists, his expertise is also international. She is registered with the bars of Luxembourg, Geneva, Freiburg, Madrid and Hong Kong. This allows her to directly follow his clients’ cases in these jurisdictions.

Litigator and negotiator. Typhanie is an experienced litigator and she intervenes in the most sophisticated financial and tax disputes. But he also knows that amicable agreements are often preferable to trials and he favors negotiation whenever possible.

She is a professor at the Solvay Business School of Economics & Management of the Université Libre de Bruxelles and is the chair of the renowned “Executive Master in Tax Management”. She has had other academic responsibilities and has retained the responsibility for the “Philosophy of Taxation” course.

Publications. Author of numerous books and treatises, including the “Treatise on Evidence in Tax Law” and the “Manual of Financial Criminal Law”, she has published more than 200 articles in the most prestigious scientific journals and has given hundreds of lectures in many countries.

Influencer. Typhanie is regularly interviewed in the media on fiscal, financial and economic issues. Her opinion counts to assess the major issues of society and governance. She is notably in charge of a column in the economic magazine Trends and on Radio Judaica.

Awards & Prizes. Typhanie is regularly honored and celebrated by the most prestigious academic and professional awards. She has been recognized several times as the best tax lawyer in Belgium and the firm has received multiple international awards.
